Initial Questionnaires & Background Information
After booking, you’ll receive a set of intake forms. These help us understand your:
- Developmental history
- Social communication preferences
- Sensory experiences
- Strengths, challenges, and mental health background
We aim to keep this process accessible and stress-free. There are no “right” or “wrong” answers—just your story
Clinical Interviews
You’ll meet with our experienced clinicians who specialise in autism assessments for adults. During this friendly and supportive session, we’ll explore:
- How you experience relationships, communication, and social situations
- How you manage sensory input, routines, and change
- Your thought patterns, interests, and coping strategies
- Any experiences of masking, burnout, or co-occurring conditions (such as ADHD, anxiety, or depression)
You’re welcome (but not required) to involve a parent, partner, or someone who knew you as a child. Their insight can help build a full picture of your developmental history—but we understand that’s not always possible or desired
Diagnosis, Feedback & Report
After completing the assessment, we will let you know the outcome. If you meet the criteria for Autism diagnosis we’ll explain how your profile aligns with a diagnosis in a clear, affirming way.
You’ll receive a detailed, neuro-affirmative diagnostic report, which can be used for:
- university accommodations
- Accessing support services
- Personal clarity and self-acceptance
Your report will be the same standard as an NHS one, mapped to ICD-11 criteria
Follow-up
We will offer you a 1/2 hour follow up appointment to discuss your report and resources which may help you.
We will provide you with suggestions for reasonable adjustments and diagnosis letter.
With your consent, we can let your GP know the outcome of your assessment and confirm your diagnosis

Adult Autism screening Assessment
Our Autism Screening Assessment offers a supportive first step for adults who are exploring whether autism may be part of their lived experience. If you’ve ever wondered why social interactions feel exhausting, sensory input is overwhelming, or everyday tasks take extra energy—this assessment can help provide clarity.
This is a 1-hour session led by a qualified Speech and Language Therapist or Specialist Nurse, with a detailed summary report and recommendations tailored to you.
Neuro-Affirming Insight into indicators of autism
Our Autism Screening Assessment for Adults offers a focused, supportive exploration of your potential autistic characteristics.
It is ideal if you are:
- Exploring autism as part of your neurodivergent identity
- Want insight without committing to a full diagnostic process
While not a standalone diagnostic assessment, it provides valuable insight into whether a full autism diagnosis may be helpful.

This session is designed to explore key areas, such as:

Daily Living Skills-
Executive functioning (planning, time, organisation)
Sensory Processing
Sensitivities or responses to sound, light, textures, or smells

This is a neuro-affirmative process — not about “fixing” challenges, but understanding your unique experience.

If you later decide to proceed with a full diagnostic assessment through us, the cost of this screening will be deducted from the total.
