Neuro-affirming, Professional & Compassionate Assessments
Adult Autism Diagnostic Assessment
If you’re an adult (16+) and wondering whether autism may be part of your neurotype - but want more than just a screening - our Adult Autism Diagnostic Assessment offers a full, clinician-led evaluation. We follow evidence-based diagnostic standards so you can obtain a formal diagnosis recognised by Health, educational institutions, employers, and support services.
Why choose a full diagnostic assessment?
A comprehensive evaluation helps you understand lifelong patterns in social communication, sensory processing, routines, interests, and mental health.
It can provide clarity and validation - especially if you’ve spent years masking, feeling “different,” or struggling without understanding why.
A formal diagnosis unlocks access to support, adjustments, and accommodations: at work, in education, healthcare or social settings.
It gives a clearer foundation for self-understanding, acceptance, and self-advocacy - empowering you to move forward with confidence and awareness.

What’s Included in Our Diagnostic Assessment?
Thorough Pre-Assessment Process
Once booked, you’ll receive intake forms inviting you to share your developmental history, sensory experiences, communication style, and any strengths, challenges or co-occurring mental health concerns. We aim to create a safe, supportive, non-judgmental environment for you to tell your story - there are no “right” or “wrong” answers.
Clinical Interview with Experienced Professionals
Over an in-depth session with our qualified clinicians - who are experienced in adult autism diagnosis - we explore how you experience relationships, routines, sensory input, special interests, communication, and emotional wellbeing. We also consider masking, burnout, and any overlapping conditions (e.g. anxiety, ADHD, depression) to build a full picture). You may choose to involve someone (e.g. a parent or long-term acquaintance) to provide additional insight into your developmental history - though it’s not required.
Diagnosis, Feedback & Formal Report
If your assessment shows you meet the diagnostic criteria, we’ll explain how your profile aligns with those criteria in a clear, affirming way. You’ll receive a detailed diagnostic report, mapped to ICD-11 (Gold standard diagnostic manual) - the same standard as recognised by NHS and other providers. This report can be used for:
- University/college accommodations
- Workplace or educational accommodations
- Accessing support services
- Personal clarity, self-understanding and acceptance
Follow-up & Support
After diagnosis, we offer a follow-up appointment to discuss the outcome, answer your questions, and explore recommended supports or reasonable adjustments (at work, in education or daily life). With your consent, we can also notify your GP, send your report and provide a formal diagnosis letter if needed.
What Sets Us Apart
We embrace a neuro-affirming approach, understanding autism as a valid and difference-based neurotype- not a deficit. Our assessments are inclusive and sensitive to the needs of adults, including those who may have been previously overlooked or have masked their traits in social or professional settings
